25 Days of Wolves | Day 6 🐺 Today we shine a spotlight on Trumpet, a wolf whose name originates from her loud, joyful squeals as a pup. Over the years, Trumpet and her mate Lighthawk, have welcomed four litters, and seven of their pups have been released into the wild, directly strengthening the wild population of Mexican gray wolves. Trumpet’s story has reached far beyond our center and she’s even the star of a beautiful children’s book that celebrates her journey and the importance of protect
