Notice how this and all other examples provided come from a movie or an ova. It's always a movie/ova. Because people just remember the few high budget products that stood out to them and forget 99% of anime at that time were powerpoint presentations. It's always the same thing anytime this conversation comes up. Either a movie/ova or at best a sakuga moment in a series that has bad animation most of the time. My two favorite anime are from the 80s but my god i beg of you go rewatch regular anime
