Listening to a male lion roar in the grasslands is beyond magical. There is no specific term to the ‘mist’ / ‘vapour’ that comes out of the lions mouth when it roars on a cold morning. It’s simply condensed water vapour, similar to the breath we see on a cold day, resulting from the warm, moist air from the lion’s lungs meeting the cooler surrounding air.
