Dec 23, 2024 · Hamilton High School Alumnus Jamie Brown is set to be inducted into the NCAA Hall of Fame and the Samford University Hall of Fame in 2025. For Brown’s senior year at Samford University, under head coach Terry Bowden, the Bulldogs went 12-2 overall, making it to the semifinals of the national championship, resulting in their being number three in the nation.

Dec 4, 2024 · HAMILTON — A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, has claimed the life of a Laneville, Texas, woman. Shelly I. Coleman, 69, was critically injured when the 2014 GMC Yukon she was driving collided head-on with the 2016 BMW X4 driven by Eboni L. Johnson, 50, of Atlanta, Ga.
