Nov 30, 2020 · It was pretty disappointing on a few levels. :( But sidestepping the whole "Tom Welling apparently has internalized hate for this role" conversation, it seems like it would have been more fun and more respectful to Smallville to let him have an actual conversation with the heroes and "pass the torch" from Smallville to the CWverse.

She said the actors were okay but they basically ignored her and she was excluded from their group. Erica was philosophical about it and said they weren't her family, and that Smallville was her family.
