Dec 2, 2013 · Probably not. For electricity to flow, there needs to be a path for the current to flow, and for electric fences, the path is generally from the fence, through the voltage target (an animal, or in this case a stick), into the ground, and then back into the fence at the generator.

Apr 17, 2011 · I think it depends on the size of the stick really. Back when I had horses my friends and I would put various plant matter on the horse's electric fence to see if we could get a zap. Grass and small sticks would, bit sticks (finger width or bigger) would not. Granted it was a livestock grass killer electric fence not one for keeping in dinos.
