Black Hawk State Historic Site offers a great educational program for field trips of students from Kindergarten through High School. All field trips include a guided tour of the Hauberg Museum.
Many Hopewell mounds were located on the bluff that hosts the Black Hawk Watch Tower and present day Black Hawk State Historic Site. In fact, one of these still exists in the front yard of one of our members.

Each school may receive one grant up to $300 per school year (August-June) for transportation costs to Black Hawk State Historic Site. All teachers requesting funds out of this grant must be listed on one form.
