Russia launched a ballistic missile and nearly 40 drones against Ukraine over the past and current day, attacking from four directions, the Ukrainian Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

Russia has launched over 2,200 Shahed drones at Ukraine, despite a ceasefire proposal from the US. Ukrainian diplomatic chief, Andriy Sybiha, emphasises that Russia continues to escalate the conflict.

Ukrainian drones are a critical part of defensive operations, targeting Russian unmanned aircraft high above the front lines. One team stationed near Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, says their cheap modified drones can destroy hundreds of thousands of dollars of Russian equipment in a single strike.
