With a couple of weeks to go until the Austrian Grand Prix, the dust can settle following a chaotic end to the race in Montreal. The notable storylines are mostly centred around McLaren, after Lando Norris crashed into the back of team-mate Oscar Piastri with four laps remaining.

Lando Norris’ chances at the 2025 Formula 1 championship took a massive hit in Sunday’s Canadian Grand Prix. Norris crashed himself out of the race when he inexplicably tried to pass McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri for fourth place with less than five laps left.

F1 stars Brad Pitt as former hotshot racer Sonny Hayes, who, after suffering a catastrophic accident which nearly ends his career, reenters the fold to compete against the new kid on the track, Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris). In addition to Pitt and Idris, the film stars Oscar-nominee Kerry Condon, Oscar-winner Javier Bardem, and Tobias Menzies.

Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon were glowing on their PDA-packed date night at the “F1” premiere in New York City. The Oscar-winning actor led his girlfriend by the hand while stepping onto the red carpet in Times Square on Monday. Pitt, 61, was later seen wrapping his arm around her waist while posing for photos.

F1 championship leader Oscar Piastri lost out in the early stages of the Canadian Grand Prix, whilst Alex Albon went flying off the track. Max Verstappen and George Russell managed to get past Turn 1 cleanly, with the Mercedes star maintaining his lead ahead of the champion.
