Staff at The Bull, a pub in Oxfordshire, England, reportedly refused to come to work if the vice president had a reservation.

American vice-president JD Vance had to change his dinner plans swiftly after staff at a Cotswolds pub learnt he had made a reservation and reportedly threatened to walk out. The Bull in Charlbury, which was named pub of the year earlier this year, had to turn down a reservation Vance made because staff are said to have refused to serve him.

Vance’s presence has brought helicopters and SUVs to the quaint town. Villagers also expressed their malcontent with Vance after his expanded security detail overcrowded a local supermarket, blocking several handicapped parking spaces with his Secret Service entourage.
