Houston-area districts with more than 50,000 students either stayed the same or slightly increased, with Houston ISD and Aldine ISDs making the largest increase of the area districts. Both districts improved their scores 10 points in two years.

The TEA has published delayed accountability ratings for the 2023-24 school year, along with ratings for 2024-25, at TXschools.gov. Houston ISD received a B grade of 82 for 2024-25, up from a 79 the year before.
