A heat wave is expected to affect central Ohio from late June through the July Fourth weekend. The National Weather Service forecasts temperatures in the 90s with heat indexes over 100 degrees.
Temperatures will range from the upper 90s to the lower 100s across the area Friday. Winds will be from the southwest at about 5-10 mph. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions are expected.
