Tatiana Suarez had to be sewn back up extensively following her first UFC title fight. The Ultimate Fighter 23 winner failed to add strawweight champion next to her accolades, pitted against the talented Zhang Weili in the co-main event of UFC 312.

Tatiana Suarez is no stranger to adversity. Suarez (11-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) took a beating during a unanimous decision loss to strawweight champion Zhang Weili this past Saturday in the UFC 312 co-main event at Qudos Bank Center in Sydney.

Despite entering as the betting underdog at UFC 312, Zhang Weili looked like the best fighter in 115-pound history on Saturday in a dominant defense of her women's strawweight title.  Zhang (26-3), a two-time champion,
