Google has admitted its earthquake early warning system failed to accurately alert 10 million people of the intensity threat of Turkey's deadly natural disaster in 2023.

Google has admitted that its earthquake early warning system gave people insufficient warning during the deadly quakes in Turkey in early February 2023.

Over 55,000 people died, and more than 100,000 were injured in the back-to-back quakes that hit southeastern Turkey. Most people had no warning before their buildings collapsed.
