The Texas Tech softball team answered the call to win an important series over Arizona, moving closer to the Big 12 title.

With a bounce-back start from Zane Petty and 6 home runs, Texas Tech baseball took a game at Arizona State, but lost its fourth Big 12 series in five.

After suffering an injury at last year's regionals, Allen Gant made up for it with a strong showing Saturday to reach the state meet.
