While the rest of the NBA is in a holding pattern waiting for the Giannis Antetokounmpo domino to fall, it appears the New York Knicks are performing due diligence along the margins and scouring the trade market elsewhere.
However, ESPN’s Zach Kram’s Knicks trade idea would transform New York from title contenders to title favorites. The hypothetical deal would land the franchise a 6-foot-11 Milwaukee Bucks NBA champion forward.
It was fitting, then, that the Lakers were back at the Garden for the trade’s first anniversary — and that Doncic dominated, even in a losing effort, 112-100, against the Knicks.
