The Atlanta Braves resumed their “Speedway Classic” matchup against the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday after Saturday’s game was suspended by rain in the bottom of the first inning. While the game was originally expected to be a crucial one for Atlanta’s postseason hopes when the event was announced last year, the reality has been far from ideal.
Atlanta placed Riley on the 10-day injured list Monday with a strained lower abdominal muscle.
