T he New York Jets have moved on from veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and the 41-year-old will now turn his attention to either retirement, or where his next NFL home will be.

TMZ Sports was able to catch Rodgers coming out of a training session on Thursday in Southern California. He said he only has two items on his wishlist for his next place of NFL employment. The first is that he wants to be wanted.

We know that Aaron Rodgers will not be quarterbacking the Jets in 2025, but we don't know anything else about his football future. Rodgers has been informed that he will be released at the start of the new league year and there's been a lot of speculation about what teams might have interest in signing him without anything concrete at this point.

Rodgers had been linked to two West Coast teams in the Los Angeles Rams, should they choose to move on from Matthew Stafford, and the Las Vegas Raiders. Next team odds for Rodgers project it as a three-way tie between those franchises and the Steelers to land the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

Rodgers, 41, hasn't played up to his All-Pro talent level since he won his fourth career MVP award with the Green Bay Packers in 2021. In 17 games last season, Rodgers threw for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions—adding up to a 90.5 passer rating, far below his career 102.6 rating.
