The Aam Aadmi Party and BJP indulged in intense blame game with both sides alleging voting malpractices in different constituencies as polling for 70 Assembly seats in Delhi progressed on Wednesday

The voting for the Delhi elections has begun today (5 February) with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) aiming to secure a third term while the BJP is eyeing to dethrone the Arvind Kejriwal led party, and the Congress looking for a resurgence in the national capital.

BJP leader accused individuals dressed in burqas of attempting to vote illegally. Meanwhile, AAP’s senior leader Manish Sisodia claimed that money was being distributed in the Jungpura area by BJP members.

On the day of polling in the national capital, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) exchanged sharp accusations with the former alleging that the saffron camp distributed money near polling booths.

Bharadwaj claimed that the police were putting up barricades and attempting to influence the election in all 17-18 polling booths in Chirag Delhi.
