James Woods honors slain director Rob Reiner as 'godsend' who saved his career despite their political differences, calling the late director a patriot.

Reiner — known for his iconic films including “A Few Good Men,” “When Harry Met Sally” and “The Princess Bride” — was an outspoken critic of Trump, telling The Guardian last year that a second term for the president could turn the United States into an “autocracy.”

"They will keep assaulting and murdering conservative Americans until we are wiped out or start fighting back," James Woods said on X.

Woods pointed to the wildfires that swept through his neighborhood, asserting that state failures, not climate change, fueled the destruction.
