/ The Root Directory Everything on your Linux system is located under the / directory, known as the root directory.
For file and folder management, that number dwindles. I've already listed what I believe are the 5 Linux commands every user should learn, all of which are also related to file and folder management.
These options are used to create the cd-rom directory tree, the root filesystem directory tree, and the initial ramdisk tree. Make sure all the boxes are checked STEP8.
