US President Donald Trump has cut short his trip to attend the Group of Seven (G7) summit in Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada, citing the Middle East conflict.

Mr. Trump lowered the U.S. tariff on British cars to 10 percent, from 25 percent, and ordered that the United States let a certain amount of British steel and aluminum into the U.S. tariff-free.

The summit comes amid the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran as well as Trump's tariff turmoil.
