Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Roki Sasaki will likely need more time in the minors as he rehabs according to MLB insider Jon Morosi.

"Beginning a rehab assignment for Triple-A Oklahoma City, Sasaki needed 41 pitches to record six outs and failed to retire the two batters that he faced in the third inning," Jared Greenspan reported for MLB.com. "The Dodgers had originally hoped Sasaki could complete three innings."

Roki Sasaki's first rehab start was brutal, with ugly command and diminished fastball velocity. The Los Angeles Dodgers can't count on him to give the rotation a boost this season, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
