Kerr County officials say death toll has risen to 96 due to the Hill Country floods, including 60 adults and 36 children.
The number of fatalities connected to the Kerr County floods has risen to 75, local officials said Monday as search and rescue efforts continue and Camp Mystic grieved ”the loss of 27 campers and counselors”.
Jane Ragsdale ran the Heart O' the Hills camp for girls in Kerr County. The camp was between sessions when the deluge hit. The only person killed there was Ragsdale.
New satellite images released from Maxar Technologies show the destruction of the flash floods that have resulted in the deaths of more than 100 people over the July 4 weekend.Local authorities estimate around 160 people are still missing as Thursday marks the seventh day of the search for victims.
