The WNBA's opening weekend is now in the rearview mirror, and the regular season is off and running. Even though no team has played more than two games, there have already been plenty of exciting games and compelling storylines to follow.

Even with a short roster, New York is a front-runner, Phoenix has no shortage of talent, and the Dream are even better.

Janelle Salaun scored 20 points and tied a career high with five 3-pointers, Veronica Burton had 16 points and six assists, and the Golden State Valkyries beat the Seattle Storm 91-80 in the season opener for both teams.

Azzi Fudd made her WNBA on the bench and scored just three points in 18 minutes. It was an almost historically bad debut for her.
