Lifetime is cutting back its unscripted programming division, a decision that resulted in layoffs on Wednesday.

Lifetime has cut several members of its unscripted team, including its programming and development VP Nicole Vogel.

The layoffs come as the network is focusing on TV movies, despite coming ten days ahead of the launch of 'The Chrisleys: Back to Reality'.
