A Georgia lottery player was a number shy of the Powerball jackpot but still snagged a big prize. The lucky player won $250,000 after matching four white ball numbers and the red Powerball number, narrowly missing the estimated $90 million jackpot in the June 16 drawing, according to the Georgia Lottery’s website.

A Powerball player in Texas won $150,000, just missing the $80 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The ticket matched four winning numbers, the Powerball and the Power Play in the drawing Saturday, June 14, the Texas Lottery said. Another ticket sold in Texas won $50,000.
