An illegal gun has been taken off Springfield streets after police witnessed suspected drug deals Thursday afternoon.
A Springfield man is facing drug and gun charges after Springfield Police said they found both in his home on Wednesday.
Joey Sanchez, 27, was arrested around 7 a.m. Friday and is believed to be the second suspect in the shooting and murder of 27-year-old Shain West of Springfield on November 30.
