Looks like the PC version of Splinter Cell: Conviction will use Ubisoft's DRM system like Assassin's Creed II, The Settler's 7 other new titles soon to be released.
No PC demo will be released for Splinter Cell: Conviction. Now won't have chance to decide if it was worth the DRM requirements or not, unless you try it out on Xbox 360.
Conviction is a Splinter Cell game in name more than anything else. You could easily swap Sam Fisher for Jack Bauer or create an all new character and no one would give it a second thought.
