Kyrou made it 1-0 at 1:19 of the first period when he intercepted Zegras’ pass in the neutral zone, skated into the right circle and beat Ersson with a snap shot to the blocker side. Zegras tied it 1-1 at 8:18 after the Flyers caught the Blues on a 3-on-2, with Zegras beating Binnington from the slot between the pads.
The St. Louis Blues beat the Calgary Flames 3-2 in what came to be a rare thriller situation for the Flames in the Gateway to the West.
