REDWOOD CITY – Officers fatally shot a man holding a gun Tuesday afternoon in Redwood City, police said. In a statement, the Redwood City Police Department said officers were called to the 200 block of Hazel Avenue just after 2:30 p.m. for a report of a man who had fired a gun into the sidewalk.
