NEW YORK — The Hall of Fame voter who declined to select Ichiro Suzuki remains a mystery. All 321 voters who allowed their ballots to be made public Tuesday by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America selected the Japanese star. Suzuki appeared on 393 of 394 ballots when voting was announced on Jan. 21.

At a Hall of Fame news conference, Ichiro joined the ranks of many people around the globe in wondering why he didn’t get that one vote.

The singular BBWAA voter who snubbed Ichiro Suzuki for the Hall of Fame is still at large, and is likely to remain so after the organization's final release of ballots. Each Hall of Fame ballot comes with an option for the writer's votes to be publicly released after the results are announced,

A total of 394 voters submitted their ballots. Of those, 321 were made public Tuesday. But the Ichiro dissenter's ballot wasn't one of them.
