NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KETK)– A local Marine reserve member and SFA pilot instructor explained that military pilots go through extensive the Survival, Evasion, Resist and Escape training if their jets ever crash or are shot down.

In a news conference with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Dan Caine, Trump touted the rescue of two U.S. airmen whose jet was shot down over Iran.

Both crew members from the American fighter jet shot down by Iranian forces on Friday were rescued.

The Pentagon and United States Central Command have been silent over a slew of reports that emerged on Friday about multiple U.S. military aircraft being shot down by Iranian fire, as well as reported rescue efforts for pilots involved.
