Taking a look at which Gators will be represented in this year’s Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.

For the 23rd straight year, the Florida Gators will have a former player representing the program in the Super Bowl. And this year’s big game will feature four of them. Here’s a recap of Sunday’s NFL action involving players that once wore the orange and blue.

The Bills (15-4) and Chiefs (16-2) play at 6:30 p.m. Sunday on CBS for the AFC Championship and a berth in the Super Bowl on Feb. 9 in New Orleans. CJ Gardner Johnson and Howie Roseman celebrated the Eagles 8th trip to the NFC title game over the last 24 years.

It's the 23rd straight year at least one former UF player is going to the Super Bowl, which is the third-longest active streak amongst SEC programs.

The PFSCA's Big 33 football All-Star game has been held in Pennsylvania since 1957. The game has placed at least one alumnus in the big game every year. That streak will continue at Super Bowl LIX.
