The Ojai Raptor Center in Ventura County has received tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of dollars in donations after taking in Jackie, the beloved bald eagle rescued out of Big Bear on July 18.

A beloved bald eagle in California has been found safe after going missing.

On June 17, ECOs helped release an adult bald eagle along the Mohawk River in the town of Minden near where it was found injured on the Thruway six weeks earlier. The raptor was rehabbed at North Country Wild Care in Saratoga Springs.

Bald eagle photography led News 19 meteorologist Ben Smith to British Columbia, where he captured images of eagles in the wild.
