Travelers at Hollywood Burbank Airport encountered delays Monday amid an air traffic controller staffing shortage linked to the ongoing federal government shutdown.

By Monday evening, the FAA was reporting that staffing shortages were creating delays in the Burbank, Newark and Denver airports.
