Bryan Kohberger pleaded guilty to four counts of first-degree murder and burglary in the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students on Nov. 13, 2022, during a plea hearing on Wednesday.

Bryan Kohberger, in his own words Wednesday, admitted he killed four University of Idaho students in 2022, finally bringing some closure to the 2 ½-year case that brought national attention to the grieving college town.

A judge accepted a plea agreement which allows Kohberger to avoid the death penalty for the 2022 murder of four students.
