San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle pushed back against a rumor about his current contract demands. The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported Wednesday that Kittle "wants to become the NFL’s highest-paid tight end." She added that he and the Niners "remain apart" in negotiations.

There has been some uncertainty as to whether three of the team's biggest names will attend the voluntary offseason program.

The San Francisco 49ers and quarterback Brock Purdy appear to be at an impasse in their contract discussions. While Purdy wants a deal similar to the one Dak Prescott got from the Dallas Cowboys, John Lynch and the 49ers do not seem inclined to give it to him.
