Dreams came true for 29 more players on Thursday night during the second round of the NBA Draft at the Barclays Center in New York. Veteran college players were the flavor of the second round, as several former NCAA stars heard their names called.

“I talked to them at the combine, and we had a very good talk,” Broome said during a Thursday night appearance on SiriusXM. “Just how my schedule was, I wasn’t able to get out there (for a workout). But it’s a good group. I think I’m in a good situation. I walk into a very good team that I can help win games and get in the playoffs.”

Johni Broome has gone from college force at Auburn to second-round NBA draft pick. The Philadelphia 76ers drafted Broome with the No. 35 pick in Thursday's second round.
