An extreme heat warning was released by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 1:20 p.m. in effect until 10 p.m. for Eastern Columbia River Gorge of Oregon, Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon and Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.

An Extreme Heat Warning is also in effect across western Arizona, along the Colorado River, until 8 p.m. Wednesday and for the lower elevations of the Grand Canyon below 4,000 feet through Thursday evening.

At 2:03 a.m. on Tuesday, the NWS San Diego CA released an extreme heat warning valid between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. for Apple and Lucerne Valleys.
