Hundreds of students have protested near the site of the crash of a Bangladesh air force training jet into a school in the nation’s capital, demanding accountability, compensation for victims’ families and the halt of training flights.

At least 88 people, including children, are being treated in hospital. The government announced a day of mourning, with flags at half-mast and special prayers at all places of worship.

GAPYEONG, South Korea (Reuters) -Severe wet weather in South Korea eased on Monday following days of torrential rain that triggered floods and landslides and left at least 18 people dead, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety said on Monday.
